Wherefore, O holy LORD, FATHER ALMIGHTY
we contemplate how you will look down on and accept
these offerings, and with Thy HOLY SPIRIT ( The epiclesis )
and WORD will + BLESS + CONSECRATE and + APPROVE
that they may become for us the most precious + BODY and + BLOOD
of THE SON
Who the day before He suffered took bread into His holy

P: Wherefore, o Father in heaven, do we,
Your incarnated children here contemplate
the mystery of the innermost Son-Nature,
the mystery of His most wondrous incarnation,
His mighty resurrection, and His triumphant ascension

the memorial which our Lord hath willed us to make
and we do offer with You this, the most precious gift,
which You have bestowed upon us
