CHRIST, ABRAHAM, PARABRAHM (114)

Abraham (originally Abram ?), 1900th century BC. ?, became in traditions progenitor of Ishmaelites (Arabian tribes) through his first son, Ishmael, whose mother was Hagar. And Abraham is believed to

be progenitor of the Hebrews through his second son, Isaac and a half-sister Sarai (Sarah). Abraham is

said to have believed that his God promised to give the land Kanaan to his seed. Later Arabian - Jewish conflicts have there one of the roots. Religious beliefs are often founded on such "spiritual" experiences which may be if not true understood as hallucinations or even psychological indoctrinating for political-financial or other reasons. Even in our time we find how political demands are founded on "Abraham".

Religious- allegoric doctrines are also found in Abraham-legends. One "Abraham" may have been

a revolting Brâhman or Brâhman-tribe. Ex-Brâhmans had sought refuge in Chaldea against orthodox

majorities . Such A-(not)-Brâhman-groups may have brought with them old Brahman-religious ideas which we can find shadowed in younger religions. The names Abraham and Sarah may be shadows of

the Hindu-God-Goddess Brahmâ and Sarasvati. Jesus did acknowledge "the God of Abraham, ( Matt 22.32) and did say (Joh 8 58) " before Abraham was born I was". Was he incarnated before Abraham?

If Abraham was a Chaldea Brâhman, individual or group of A-Brâhmans, ex-Brâhmans as legends can intimate he or that sect may have understood deep Brahman-symbolism. And secret orders in the west say that they have inherited " allegoric Brahman keys" which are not appreciated by majorities.

Parabrahm is a word for "beyond Brahma", the absolute eternal reality. But para-abramic may even be interpreted as a religion of Brahman-type which existed before the time of the Abraham-tribes. Abraham and Sarah, and Brahmâ and Sarasvati are even words which are interpreted as inner levels within each soul. Mystics can say that when Abraham according to the bible shall kill his son Isaac that is meant not literal and is not madness but a ritual mystic yoga-expression. One allegorical

explanation intimates that our highest spiritual father-nature does sacrifice its own lower principles as

Christ is said to be by our divine Father predestined to be sacrificed, "crucified" and that way "saving" all and reaching the predestined "resurrection". Isaac is as Jesus the allegoric sacrificial lamb of God .

The Moslems believe according to the Koran that Jesus was apostle, not "son" of Allah, not killed on

a cross. "They killed him not, nor crucified him. The person whom they crucified was made to appear to them like Jesus". In the Koran can we find that Jesus denies the literal interpretation that there are three Gods, Allah, Jesus and his mother," the Holy Ghost" which has been a misunderstanding among simple believers. Christian Gnostics declare Mary as chosen tool for God the Holy Ghost, that the Lady Mary is

a special incarnation or medium or instrument representative of God the Holy Ghost. In Hindu religion

can we find a Goddess at the side of every male God. Sarasvati (Vach) is "wife and daughter of Brahma", the Goddess of speech or esoteric knowledge and wisdom. In Buddhism is Prajna Paramita an allegoric Wisdom which is mother of all Buddha and of all wise saints. In ancient Egypt was Isis Divine Mother.

Such deep allegoric philosophic language has of course been misunderstood by the multitudes.

Some mystics do in the same way understand the rule of circumcision given by the 'Father" not as literal

but as Jesus says in the gospel of Thomas: "if circumcision was beneficial our Father would beget us

circumcised from our mothers but the true circumcision in spirit gives the ultimate benefit. If circumcision can have hygienic reasons and may come from Egypt shall not be discussed here. To say that orders comes from a God may be clever when leaders wants people to obey ( Moses, Popes, wars…)

Jesus says (Matt 22 32) "God has said I am the God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob"

He could have said that God says "I am the Eternal mentioned by Hinduism and Buddhists" but if he

had said such words he should have been hated by the orthodox not initiated Jews. And stoned.

Jesus said( Matt 5 17) " I have not come to abolish the prophets". The next step in religions must be to acknowledge the prophets of all religions. Though of course the records which we have inherited must

be criticised. Some misunderstood parts may belong to a certain time and certain local problems. But the "United Religions" of the future ought to include values from all prophets of all religions. Jesus is reported

to have said (Matt 7 12) "In everything do to others what you would have them to do to you, for this sums

up the prophets. The Koran acknowledges Moses and Jesus as true prophets but states that Jews and Christians have destroyed parts of the prophetic messages. Some Hindu souls say that their prophet Krishna was reincarnated as Jesus. Some Buddhists say that all religions are from the Prajna Paramita, the same eternal (Mother-) wisdom. The impression is that the future religious elite will have one

religion which includes all religions and science and inspires free critical interpretation and looks forward to initiations from the spirit within. Jesus says (Joh 4 23) " A time is coming when the true worshipers will worship neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem but in Spirit and Truth.

Jesus said "When you know your Selves then you will be known, and you will be aware that you are the sons of the Living Father (The Gospel of Thomas 3.9) And he said "You are Gods" (John 10.34) and

"I and the Father are one" (John 10.30) . In the Upanishads of the Hindu do we find the same message;

that the innermost nature (Atma) of us is identical with Brahman (God), that the individual self is

identical with the universal Self, that "Salvation" is to experience the identity of the individual soul and the Soul of the worlds, that "salvation" is freedom from the limited self-consciousness and from the common forced rebirth, that the liberated self can reincarnate free from "karma". OM is one word for Brahman, both the personal and the impersonal God. We distinguish between Brahma, the impersonal neuter, and Brahmâ, the male creator of the Indian Pantheon. The eternal Brahma is said to emanate

all in the beginning of a "day of Brahma". And it is said that all return into the eternal Brahma at the

beginning of a "night of Brahma". Our "Abraham" has roots in these Eastern Brahma- teachings

and when that is acknowledged can much more be examined and understood
